Where the
mountains
breathe.

Between past
and present.

Simple. Classy.
Calm.

500 years of history, felt in every detail. Carefully renewed, open to light, calm and a sense of ease. In Flirsch, just minutes from St. Anton, the Berghotel Basur is a place to arrive, exhale and let go.

Slow down,
sleep deep.

Sleep between stillness and mountain air.
Effortless. Entirely your own.

Mountain
Soul Food.

Less fuss, more character. Regionally rooted, modern in execution – made for lingering.

When the
evening softens.

At The Ski Lounge, the day gently fades away.
Good drinks, a warm atmosphere and just enough quiet to make you stay.

Tradition lived
today in the
Arlberg.

The story of Basur goes back long before hotels and tourism. Right next to the church in Flirsch once stood the village inn “Zum Löwen”, first mentioned in records around 1600.

In 1972, it became what is now the Berghotel Basur – larger, more modern, thoughtfully reimagined, yet still rooted in its original spirit.

Family-run for four generations.

The name Basur, derived from Rhaeto-Romanic, means “hamlet on the sunny side of the valley” – a place that has been welcoming people for centuries.
